My own daughter is trying to figure out where she stands in all this. But because in this family, the kids' happiness is by far the most important, she will be able to decide sooner what direction she wants to head. She knows she is loved regardless. Im very happy that you shared this, more stories like this are needed!

even though my ex is my ex now, he did help me overcome my own issues with my family. Ill always appreciate him for that. Your forgiveness is to be commended.

after this, Im heading to your other article. Im ashamed to say I know little about this. My daughter's grandmother on her dads side and several great aunts had breast cancer, and I dont know if she is susceptible or not. Its not on my side, tho we have plenty of other crap to deal and worry with. Thanks for this article, and please know we are all praying and hoping the very best for yall.

Mom always said, if it tickles your ears, it just may be the easy way out. If it's uncomfortable, then it probably is correct. Guess time will tell, wont it?

ah betty, i raise my kids and what do i find? One son likes his hair long on himself, long on her. Another son likes it long on her, short on him. a daughter who likes it long all the way around, and another who likes it short...all ...the way around.l.dayam....

My husband's grandmother makes it with canned orange juice. I love it both ways, but do sorta prefer the fresh orange. shh, dont tell her. ;)
