Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your comment. I don't visit Gather as much as I used to. I've been busy with a lot of things and it's been a bit overwhelming.

The ability to read minds. I happen to have Asperger's Syndrome and Nonverbal Learning Disorder. It's hard for me to read and understand facial expressions and body language. I don't even know what is socially appropriate in certain situations.

Everyone is always telling that I should know what they are thinking.

Great article, Troy. You're right about helping children with autism spectrum disorders with social interaction and education issues. They are going to be adults and it's best that they be productive members of society.

I grew up not knowing I had Asperger's Syndrome. I've had a tough time getting my education and getting jobs that I wanted. I wish I had better guidance when I was younger.

Sorry to hear about your dog, Trixie. Several years ago, my parents lost their dog who also a golden retriever named Trixie. She died all of sudden. We all cried for days.

I am currently reading "The Good Guy" and enjoying it.

I believe in God, but I would not attack anyone who didn't believe in God. I would not force anyone to change their belief.

It is sickening that someone would viciously attack a person because he/she doesn't believe in God. America is a melting pot of different cultures and beliefs. If we can't accept people who are different from us, it makes America look very bad.
