Wow! That is so...wierd...and wonderful!
Have you let Frankie read the memorial? I think that he should see it. It may be embarassing, but you don't want to regret not telling him how much he's meant to you and the big difference he's made in your life.
I guess you two have a lot of catching up to do!!

Thanks :) It kind of fit my mood at the time...detached, a little confused...
Well, I formatted it on Word first (I always save my poems to my computer before sharing them). So, the formatting on Gather wasn't as tedious. Really, I just used the tab bar a lot!!

I really love the first one, Kushal.
I find the same solace in a pen and a piece of paper, that you do in the sea.
This poem makes me want to go to the sea, and discover what inspiration lies there for me.
I like the last two poems, as well; but they seem to be their own post.

This is my new favourite poem of any I've ever read, no exaggeration.
There was literally this mounting tension and excitement with the storm, and then relief afterward.
I felt as though I were in a different world...
That is a gift!!

Wonderful comments, Carolion, I completely agree with you!
Everything that exists is nothing but energy, that's what I believe. Every person has his or her own energy, every animal and plant and object. When a lot of the same energy is projected at the same time, it makes something happen. If you've ever seen an illusionist, that's how it happens. Obviously there are a lot of fakes out there, doing it for the money...but there are others who truly put into practice the saying "you can do anything if you put your mind to it". Positive energy is all we need! We just need to make sure that it's strong enough to reach the right people! We do still have to act on things, not only think on them...but thinking will help guide us to the right actions.

Fear, though, that we are powerless...I think this is what Jurpe means. Unfortunately it consumes a lot of energy to be a seer, and not everyone is able to do it. Even then, when we get such visions as these, what are we supposed to do with them? I think that's where the fear comes in...uncertainty, helplessness...

A haiku is a three-lined poem. The first line has five syllables, the second line has seven, and the third again has five.
Sarah didn't write a haiku, but a "haiku-based poem", as she put it; each stanza follows the syllabic limits of a haiku.
