I love A Wrinkle in Time and have read it many times over since childhood. Never cared as much for A Wind in the Door and A Swiftly Tilting Planet. If you are interested, you may have noticed that the fugue features prominently in much of L'Engle's work, and her books follow a similar pattern. You can find many of the same characters (or descendants of characters) that are in A Wrinkle in Time and Meet the Austins interwoven into her adult novels.

I've never seen an author mingle character and plot lines through both books for children and books for adults. For me, it got a little tiresome after the novelty had worn off.
