She got A's in both classes. She also took a CLEP test in Biology and passed with flying colors. According to the website, it is 6 semester hours credit without having to take the class. She is also taking a dual credit course at the high school this year and is getting an A in that. She will have 15 hours of college credit when the semester ends next week. What a way to start college and save us some money in the meantime!

I have to take him back to Iowa City on Monday. They still couldn't find anything and he still has quite a bit of blood in front of his retina.

I sure hope so. It gets a little monotonous for everyone to use up their deductible in November!

He had the tear on the retina in his other eye and Iowa City did say they could see the scars of three other tears on this one that apparently he never noticed. I asked if our doctor was screening him for diabetes and that was the first thing the doctors in Iowa City asked him as well. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

Sorry you had the H1N1 at your house. We had several students with it at school. Those that were high school age said it was horrible.
