I think I forgot about Catwoman even before it was released. Constantine was a little obscure to begin with; the adaptation was mediocre, but at least not embarrassingly awful. The Fantastic Four did well with children and teenagers, really the target audience for a superhero film, so it really isn't surprising that it's getting a sequel.

Thanks! I agree about the comic book wave, though it's a very deep, rich well of material. It's going to take a couple of flops before Hollywood gets shy about them. Once we get to the "Betty and Veronica" movie, we might be there (though who knows. Perhaps in the hands of J. J. Abrams that could end up cool). Actually it would be nice if producers stepped a bit away from the mainstream comics. Sin City was refreshing though it had its faults, but "Maus" could elevate the form just as it did print.
