Marilyn is right on about the Economics. Others would take those jobs if offered, especially in this economy. Another thing that would help is changing welfare and then more legal citizens would take those jobs because they would have to.

I don't understand how this happens on some flights yet others let you off. I was on a Midwest flight last year when there were weather problems. After sitting on the plane just 20 minutes, they let us off the plane saying it would probably be 2 hours but to stay close to the gate because when they got the go ahead, they would board and immediately leave. Just over an hour later we re-boarded and were on our way.

I'm sorry, but I think it is a fair practice to gain the revenue this way than other fees on all customers. I agree with Chuck's first point and somewhat the second, however you would be surprised how many people do not have online banking/email.
Maybe the fees should be less, but overall I don't see the problem in holding people accountable for their money. Yet would people bounce more checks if the fee was only $10? Possibly.

I don't know if I understand your statement that Obama's problem is an attitude from former administration. The problem is that attitude is all his. A huge issue with me is the fact that everything Obama proposes has to be done NOW. The Gitmo, the stimulus package, health care... what will be next that has to be done immediately?

That is just ridiculous! I think he is guiltier than guilty! Besides, if he wants to appeal, he can do it on his own or have a cheap attorney. There are plenty of young attorneys that would take it for the possible fame associated with a win. Not that I think they would win.
