Good descriptive poem, Angela. I love the funny stylishness of it.

I love pings, but alas, they don't love me. I'm on dial-up and it can take up to 10 minutes to download a graphic on a ping. So I was forced to go to "no pings."

Liz,

This reminds me of meeting my veteran brother's friend as we all picnicked on the river bank in front of bro's house. His friend was visiting from Chicago. The two of them then traveled the four hours from here to the Viet Nam Memorial. They told us what an emtional experience it was. But they kept their secrets of the horror of war from us, talking only to each other about that.
