not sure what you mean, Marianne.
I keep reading how God wants the innocent babes in the womb to live. Yet I know so many passages in that mythological text called the bible, particularly the Old Testament, there are countless atrocities ordered by the God of the Bible directed at children. One doesn't have to believe to read it.

Jane,
I feel sorry for you. You really believe that nonsense the wing nuts have been angrily spewing about abortions.
Thank goodness abortion is legal in this country. I wish there was government funding for abortions in Ohio, but there is not.
People who perform abortions can make better money elsewhere, but choose to perform this procedure instead, that helps women.
I have had an abortion, and I know it was the best choice in my circumstance.
YOU do not have any right whatsoever to tell me whether or not I have a child. That is MY choice.
I encounter loud, angry, ill informed and obnoxious anti-choicers every Saturday morning. There is a clinic where the anti-choicers harass the women going in. I am there with others to counter these nasty folks, with their fake fetus posters and their disgusting words screamed at the young women.
Casting the first stone, and ignorantly so, Jane.
Do you know how hard it is not to quote Dan Akroyd here?

I don't know.
Perhaps those who practice dialogue and respect will move outlast the bullying loudmouths.
Maybe we will be greener in our own energy and infrastructure.
But also, probably more and more people will move in together so as to survive.
