Sarina. I've not been in contact with you for a while but I'm so sorry to read about such tragic news. You've been such a support to me over these past few years, as has your mom Barbara, I've been so fond of you both. I'll pray hard and often for you and your family. I've been to rock bottom too and it was then and only then that my life was turned around. I pray the same for your children, and for some comfort for you...I really am so sorry to read this.

You evoke the characters with great attention to detail, Barbara, and as others have said, warmth; you clearly love your characters. And you bring them alive with your pen. Your sentences are strong, because you pack them with detail, never rambling. Also, I've said this before, but your imagination is amazing: this is what makes the story real. Consistent good work, Barbara. You've really got to the soul of the lives of the characters, and you take the reader there too. Good strong style too; you don't waste words. You fill your sentences well and pack alot of information into them.
