I totally agree with Matthew, Angie and Deb. Adam needed a reality check - this is not a one-man show and frankly I'm a little tired of AI catering to all his whims (the walk down the stairs... c'mon, NO other contestant gets staging like that). I'm not discounting how great he is, but his take on Feeling Good was kinda awful. Kris and Allison both did a great job this week - I would love to see the two of them in the final.

I'm glad that Adam got to experience being in the bottom two. I'm not saying that he isn't good enough, or doesn't want it enough... I just think it will humble him a bit, which he NEEDS at this point in the competition so that he doesn't get so over-indulgent (thanks, Simon). To be honest, I'm tired of it being the Adam Lambert show, and I would be way more likely to download music from Kris or Allison than from Adam.

I missed the performance show but caught the videos online - I thought Adam butchered his song - and that's the first time I haven't enjoyed his performance.

I thought Kris knocked it out of the park, Danny was better than he's been in a while, and Allison did a great job. Too bad for Matt... I really thought he had potential. Maybe he can join the next wave of boy bands to enter the scene :o)

Danny has been so...BLAH the last few weeks. He was great at the beginning but he's just been coasting. I'm sad to see Anoop go, but very happy Lil is finally gone. A Yahoo blogger was saying they should just crown Adam the UberAmIdol and have everyone else compete for regular Idol of the season :o) I personally would love to see Kris, Matt, or Allison win, as I think Adam's going to do just fine without a 1st place finish. And to be honest, the contract will probably stifle him!

I'm glad there are Megan haters here, I really can't take much more from her! Bottom 3 IMO should be Scott, Megan, and Lil, hopefully with Scott or Megan going home.

I'm sorry. I think the judges are judging Scott at a different level because of his disability. He is not nearly as talented VOCALLY as the rest of the pack (Megan excluded). Giving him the piano puts him up a notch, but he seriously needs to go. He's in my bottom 3, along with Lil and Megan. Megan is a train wreck every week and should be lucky she's going on tour. And Lil has a great voice, but picks the wrong songs and isn't current at all. Why not pick a little Alicia Keys or something?

Kris wasn't in my top 5 until last night - he gave an amazing performance and I hope he can continue on that streak. I was a little bummed that Allison didn't perform better, she's been one of my front runners - I would have loved to see her do Pink's "Sober". Ever since Allison performed a song from Hart I can't get that style of music out of my head for her! I was also bummed about Matt, he needs to step it up a notch, hopefully he'll be safe tonight.

Scott, Megan, and Lil should be the bottom 3. Scott and Megan just are not talented enough at this point, and while Lil is, she hasn't made anything modern.

I didn't even know that they opened a 2nd restaurant! I actually love Giacomo's in the North End... waitstaff is a little rough around the edges but that's what I come to expect from the North End. And their lobster ravioli are delish.

Those gnocchi sound amazing - have to get the hubby to take me there!

So, I've been a Bachelor/Bachelorette fan for years, and this season with Jason has made me rethink watching any future seasons.

Rumor has it that Jason knew early on he wanted to pick Molly (that was pretty evident from the footage they actually showed us). To get a good "story" out of it, producers told him he had to pick Melissa in the finale, only to dump her at the After The Final Rose show, and go back to Molly.

If these rumors are true, it makes me sick on many counts:
1. I know ratings = money in TV Land, but how low does a producer have to stoop to get them?
2. How could Jason agree to something like that? (I know...a contract...)
3. We don't know what Molly knew, if anything, and when. Her reaction last night left me thinking that she did know about this beforehand.

My husband and I actually felt icky watching the show last night. I feel really bad for Melissa, but hope she ISN'T the next Bachelorette, for her own sake. I'm sure she'll get enough press and local celebrity to find herself a real, honest, and deserving man.

I think that Jason's obvious inability to come up with a reason why he didn't want to "fight" for the relationship with Melissa makes it abundantly clear that this whole thing was choreographed!

I took a pair of jeans and made them into a really cute skirt - and get compliments every time I wear it.

Take the jeans and cut them following the inseam on the legs until it's all the way open, cut to desired length (save the rest of the legs) and then overlap the legs where the crotch seam once was, and stitch in place. You'll be left with a triangular "slit" in the front and back. Depending on length, you can leave it open in the back, or use the remaining pant legs to "patch" the triangle piece closed. I left mine open in the back b/c it covered my rear :)

Thanks Mr. Mac for clearing some things up. Just a cup of coffee at Starbucks is NOT $4... lattes and cappucinos and specialty drinks are. I think it's about $2-3 for just a cup of Joe - not THAT much more than McD's and Dunkin Donuts.

The thing about a slowing economy is, higher incomes don't get affected as easily. Clearly the middle and lower income families don't splurge on Starbucks even when the economy is good. Starbucks will still be in business because the frequent drinkers will continue to be frequent drinkers, they may just cut back elsewhere.

Hey Stephen,

I've definitely found that a little preparation goes a long way. I started the South Beach diet on Tuesday this week, and making sure I have lots of protein and fresh veggies in the house has made prepping my meals for the day a lot easier, and leads to no excuses!

I totally agree with Marianne. David Cook will do way better as #2 than if he won, so in this case, second place is NOT the first loser. Let the record sales tell the real story a few months from now!!

(btw, I actually downloaded some of DC's stuff off iTunes last night, just in case they jack up the prices later!) :o)

I ask all of you: what would a David Archuleta album sound like?

take a moment...think about it...

If you're anything like me, you have no idea what it would sound like. Because he doesn't have a "sound" yet. He's great at singing the classics, but unlike Cook, hasn't really made anything his own.

For that reason only, I would not want Archuleta to win. That said, I think he will win, and it'll be all the better for Cook so that he can make the album he wants to make. Only drawback there is Cook having to wait while little David's production team struggles to get a full album together!
