I tried to find his son when he was in the hospital but was unable to pay to get the details to contact him. I think his son was his only relative and he evidently didn't keep in close contact because he's never even inquired about his father to my knowledge. That's really sad!

I don't know. I didn't even think about it until now and that's really sad because the man was very sweet and kind. I know he had a son but I couldn't find a way to contact him at the time. I did try to locate him but was in no place financially to pay for the address/phone info on the internet. I do know he was a Christian so I know I'll see him again one day.

Oh, no, the kitten in my avatar is one of the kittens from a place called Briar Rose Munchkins. They breed pure bred munchkin cats in the midwest. The owner had a bunch of the cats professionally photographed and gave me permission to use the photos for Patches' Pet Pals to help raise funds to get animals medical assistance.

I'd love to but with 15 other cats, I'd have a war on my hands with them fighting for it. You should see them all when I split three cans of cat food between them as a treat. It's like a sea of cats in my kitchen with most of them making all sorts of noise as they gobble down the food. It's really very funny.

This is the first cat I've had that tries to steal my food. I have 15 other cats and they will lick what is left or try to take a nibble but they do not try to steal my food. Shilee lived with someone else before she was abandoned and was outside for a little while so she may have developed a few habits that I will have to break her of. I do have a spray bottle but have never heard of a hiss bottle. I'll have to check that out. The spray bottle usually works for me.

If you want to help her with sharing, I'd recommend play dates with one or two children at a time and you may want to check some parenting sites on helping her to work on the sharing.

I can't believe he didn't immediately go check to see if his child was alright when he heard a thump! You don't wait for a commercial to make sure your child is alright. What kind of parent is this man? She could have hit her head and been unconscious and even died. He needs a good, swift kick in the pants or a course on parenting! And, he didn't even bother to tell you the child fell and bit her tongue and was bleeding. You don't leave a small child unsupervised anyway.

How old is Kyleigh? Please don't leave her in his care again unless he learns to be more responsible. If you have to go out of town, leave her with a friend or family member who will take proper care of her. I would hate for something to happen to her.

I like that, Marilyn! Fortunately, there are still enough of us out here who see through him and aren't willing to lay down and shut up like he thought we would! I bet a lot of people are regretting having voted for this self-serving demi-god.

I'm just sad that we have someone who is supposed to be running our country and protecting our freedoms but seems to be more intent on taking our freedoms away from us from Freedom of Speech to Right to Bear Arms to Freedom of Religion and any other freedom that disagrees with the liberal perspective. He's violated his oath of office a hundred times in less than a year and awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize is just the communistic/socialistic people's way of saying thanks for tearing down our country. It's a sad day in our country's history but it isn't over yet and I'm praying for a turn around and I'm voting for one as well. The sooner we get this man out of office, the better!

Socialism does not work. The USSR already proved that so are we going to be idiots like their country people were and allow the socialistic dictators take over here? I don't think so. There is always a way to stand up and say no but it takes courage and a willingness not to allow this type of thing to happen. That's how Hitler managed to take over and kill so many Jews because they sat back and let him take control. I'm not willing to give this country up to the power hungry people in Washington. It's time to stand up and take our country back.
