Form & content. Excellently decorated sensibility, :give it more: use the rating, or enumeration, internally to the piece. Don't keep yourself from pushing the work onto another format and pulling it back. It is not flat, it works for getting across, but I know it could sparkle.

This was inspiring! I had center cut pork chops to cook, but they seemed ordinary. I found some mushrooms in the 'frig, added beef bouillion and sauteed them. I put the chops in with cream of celery soup and a little milk. The whole concontion cooked with a half cup of red wine. Simple, and faster to make than the mashed potatoes that went along.

Thanks, Jeanine, this wasn't just a recipe, it was a short course in cooking school.

this is the same scared stuff I always read - not willing to support a draft, won't pay one cent more in taxes, blame everybody in america who disagrees. they want to kill you? kill them first, stop whining about "eliminating the threat". why aren't you coming out and demanding that the commander in chief win the war, instead of dilly-dallying with politics? you don't want to actually kill anyone, but you sure enjoy the freedom to whine about some invisible "lefties."

You are angrier at the Democrats than you are at any "terrorists." You have no idea who your enemies are and you don't know who your allies are. You wouldn't know a liberal if they offered to pick you up in a publicly-funded emergency vehicle.

There is a difference between what the law says and what will happen in real life, as Joe T. implies. The laws say I don't have to be told about the repossession of a car, a divorce, a bench warrant, the state custodial activities, and a whole host of other things -- with which I would be intensely familiar if they were actually happening.

You don't have to give legislators more power than they really have. If there is a parent that is so ignorant about their child's pain, what ever the cause, that the state needs to step in, well I am the state. So are you. I am not so resentful about the activities of the legislators that it will stop me from helping a child in need. And yes, that includes emergency appendectomies.

Can I not rely on my brothers and sisters to provide the same care for those weaker and less fortunate?

I can not imagine a world where I would prevent my child from receiving an appendectomy. I can't imagine a world where I could prevent a coma from occurring during an operation simply by agreeing to the procedure.

I can't imagine a world in which I could improve my 12-year-old daughter's life by refusing an abortion. The situation that would have to happen for a 12-year-old's pregnancy to be up for discussion is so foriegn to my life and family, I doubt that adding my astonished incapacitation would do anyone any good. There is a lot already severely damaged with the born in a case like that.

Audrey, I am happy for your life. Unfortunately, you misread my message. It is my estimation that the landscape of government has changed radically. This is not a negative or positive view, this is an examination of what actually works. Economics, stock and job markets, - these can be attributed to many factors. We have had many terrorist attacks against Americans, I don't split hairs about what soil they stand on when they are killed.

If we disregard the intentions of the founding Americans, and all that our fellow Americans continue to fight and die for. something is definitely going right. I am only worried that I might be on the wrong side of the ruling regime.

I sense a blind spot. This is not at all a back door maneuver, and I don't think it looks like one. Eisenhower didn't say that the military-industrial complex would be coming soon, or would be a part of the overall economy. The business of this country is to supply the commander-in-chief with the funds, through taxes, and the means, through industry, to maintain our supremacy. We need the brains to direct that imperative. Kerry's comment was only off because the politicos are not supposed to let on that the federal government has only one real mandate. Look at the criticism leveled at N Korea. People are destitute, but they have the bomb now, an oh, how unchristian it is that the commies don't care. We have the same priorities. Schools feed businesses, since the time of Plato's Republic, and the armed forces is business. The war comes first, always will. Is that the economic structure that gets batted between Republicans and Democrats? Not according to the Carlisle Group roster.

VV - what you don't understand is that most Americans don't want to fight the war that is necessary. I know they want to cut off my head... they are the enemy. I want to cut off their heads, too. You are not worried about your rights because you are secure. I am not interested in politics, conventions or principles either. I am interested in stopping the protracted American deaths as soon as possible. Your reference to traffic deaths is absurd: if people don't want to choose risk, they shouldn't. The point is choice. Lawyers and courts don't win wars, and I am certainly not interested in changing my way of life and constitution because the current administration has no guts. Fight the war we are in and move on. I think the enemy must die, and I have the right to habeus corpus.

Respect and gratitude like attending funerals and providing enough arms and staff? Or respect and gratitude like outsourcing commodities and allowing the water to be poisoned by vendors? Respect and gratitude like failing to provide responsible leadership? Or respect and gratitude like changing the scope of service and rules of engagement every year? Respect and gratitude like expanding the field of battle to some nebulous "terror" so there is no real end in sight? Or respect and gratitude like reducing veterens' benefits?

I wish there were a way to simply disagree with Bush's policies without remembering that his intentions have led a long distressed path to the suspension of habeus corpus, which legally could apply to anyone accused of "terrorism." Including, well, you.
