One of my favorite iPhone applications has to be the Simplify Media app. I bought my iPhone just about one year ago and this was one of the first applications I downloaded. Having overloaded my iPod over the years by uploading songs from a bunch of different computers I wasn't looking forward to the process of re-uploading all those songs to my iPhone.
That's when I was fishing around the App Store for music applications and stumbled on Simplify Media. First you have to create an account on your PC or Mac, and also download the Simplify Media App onto your iPhone or iTouch. After you get everything set up you are able to access your iTunes library on your home computer through your iPhone from anywhere, through either a wireless network, or 3G or EDGE. Basically, you can have access to a 200 GB library of music on your home computer without having to upload all the songs to your iPhone/iTouch.
Also, you have the ability to have access up to 30 of your friends iTunes libraries as long as they also have a Simplify account and give you access to their music. What's also cool is that while a song is playing, the app pulls up a quick background of the artist, as well as the lyrics to the song.
Simplify offers two versions of the application. The original version is $3.99, but they offer Simplify Media 2 app with a few more features for $5.99. I think it is definitely worth the money.
