I loved it when my daughters were still at home - taught them how to cook - and they enjoyed cooking, thus no problems with "what to have". They cook - I did the dishes (except when they baked, they were on their own).
Now, with just two of us - who WANTS to cook? I got used to giving up that "power". So, this site will be very useful, because no children here, who were more than willing, to run to the store!
Thanks Thomas--I had forgotten about these kitchen helper sites :) There is an older site, cooking by numbers that's been fun, but here's another that's seems a little more glam--again, just type in what you have at hand and it gives all sorts of suggested recipes. For example, I typed in "honey, tortilla chips, tomato, soup, onion" and got "onion in honey and tomato sauce", which looks promising. It also suggests other recipes where it pops in one or two more ingredients. In my case, it suggested cabbage for a soup, and I had forgotten I had some cabbage in the back of the fridge.
