When I received my Deli Creations coupons I thought about them before going out to purchase. Did I want to go the easy route and use them on the Chicken Bacon Ranch which I already knew I loved and could do a simple essay or did I want to go the more difficult route and try new foods I had never had before and give my honest opinions of them (gasp)? I opted for adventure!
At first I wasn't too brave - stepping out of my comfort zone is a big thing for me so I had to take it slowly. I KNOW that I usually like Ham so I started out trying a Hot Oven Roasted Ham and Cheddar deli creation. My first impression when I opened the package was surprise at how much meat they actually included in the package. At first I thought that there maybe wasn't enough cheese until after I heated the sandwhich and it melted all over and I saw how much there actually was. I knew I liked the flat breads but this was my first attempt to eat a prepackaged bun too. I tried this sandwhich and I enjoyed it. It tasted great and this is one that I would definitely eat again.
My confidence boosted by my positive experience I ventured a little further out of my comfort zone and went for something with a sauce. I tried the steakhouse beef with garlic parmesan sauce flat bread. OMG this tasted way better then I thought it would - I loved the sauce. LATER in the day though I got violently ill (kidney stones) and the vomiting was not much fun. I liked this one but will probably hold off on buying it again as I now associate it in my mind with the day I got really sick at work even though the two are in no way related.
After coming home I was hungry to try something else new and I still had two more flavors to approach so I though I would bite the bucket and take a huge step away from my comfort zone and try the Fiesta Chicken Quesidilla. I did not like this one very much. It was tolerable but I found it to be a little spicier then what I like or am used to. When I think of garden salsa (as the packet called it) I think of tomatoes, onions, and mild peppers. I don't think of spice. It should have been labled medium spice salsa. It did not taste mild to me and I could tolerate it but probably would not buy it again as it was just a little bit to spicy for my mild taste buds.
Stepping back toward my comfort zone again I next tried a Steakhouse Cheddar sub. My first impression of this one was that the meat smelled really good when I opened the package. I threw away the mayo as I do not like it but I gave the steak sauce a try. BOY am I glad I did. I loved this sandwhich. It was actually so good that I now believe it is my new favorite and I like it even better than the chicken bacon ranch. I will definitely be buying this one again.
Well - that was my deli creations adventure. I wanted to get my reviews in before the deadline. If my writing is a little disjointed please forgive me - I am on Vicodin straining my pee waiting on a kidney stone to finally pass out of my system and stop causing me so much darn pain!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for reading - Kimber.

I'm going to have to try the steakhouse cheddar sub. I've been staying away from the kind with rolls since I didn't care for the one I tried. Everyone has raved about this one.

Great review...and I hope you're feeling better soon!
Free is the best time to experiment. Sorry you can't handle spicy. Taco Bell fire sauce tastes like ketchup to me. I would not bother with 2 of these in the same day.
Coolness, very much looking forward to my try free coupons get here, lol, free always taste wonderful, and I do believe that chicken/ranch and the steak are calling me!
Thanks for your thoughts.
Oh wow you write much better then I do on Vicoden LMAO. This was a great review, I loved how you wrote it and it really flowed well! I enjoyed your take on all the sammiches, and should I ever try one, I am going for the one that you can't eat now due to the association (which I totally understand!) My mouth watered until you got to the kidney stone part LMAO! {{{HUGS}} has it passed? Are you feeling better?
