urghhh...hyperventilate again!!!

I just came from the clinic of my pulmonologist this afternoon due to severe and frequent asthma attacks (7-8 times attacks in 24 hrs). She made a request to under go the PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and Spirometry exam and x-ray to see the condition of my lungs. She even made a request for me to have a CBC with potassium count. After all the exams and lab, the results forced my doctor to admit me in the hospital for 2-3 days.  She said that I will be needing a complete bed rest for a week because I am not only suffering from asthma attacks I also hyperventilate that's why every time I am having attacks I feel numb all over my body due to lack of oxygen in my body. I tend to collapse every time I'm having attacks.  There was this time that I had attacks while driving, i really can't breath it feels like I'm going to die any minute. I asked my doctor if is it dangerous...and she answered YES. If I stress out myself It would be hard for us to control my asthma and hyperventilate attacks it's like a 50/50 for me.  I had this thing when I was in college...it was really hard because even for a short time activity like I'll have attacks. I even have the tranquilizers that my doctor prescribed me so that I won't shake that much during attacks. I feel sad because I won't be able to play much with my 1yr and 6months baby boy. I just hope everything will be fine..soon.
