I couldn't figure out quite what to fix for dinner and it finally came to me! Pulled chicken samiches! I always make pulled pork but we only have chicken and turkey right now. So I made up a VERY easy recipe for it and wanted to share it.
Pulled Chicken Samiches
4 frozen, boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (we make our own)
1/2 package dry ranch dressing mix
2 tablespoons butter
6 hamburger buns or hoagie rolls
Put the frozen chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Add 3/4 of the bbq sauce and the ranch dressing mix. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Once the chicken has cooked thoroughly, add the butter, and shred the meat finely with two forks. Pile the meat onto your bun or roll and add extra bbq sauce if ya like. Enjoy! I like fix it and forget it meals! lol I'm too busy to make a nice dinner every night. These save me SO much time!!!
