Dinner tonight (hubbys birthday)

What is everyone having for dinner?

 

Since it is hubbys birthday he got to pick dinner so we are having:

Steaks for Omaha Steaks - We use Omaha Steak seasoning and he tops his with blue cheese.

Pasta with Pesto - We have so much Basil in the garden to use up and he loves it.

Green Beans with Roasted Garlic butter

Biscuts

And a homemade cake baked (with help) and decorated by Katie who is 5.

We always have basil. From last years garden we still have basil, oregano, chili peppers, red sweet peppers. Also have oranges and lemons that are ripe. I live in Southern CA. It has been in the 80s. We are going to start our salad mix today outside. Time for fresh salad greens.

We have to eat dinner at work today because we are the cooks. We are having tostadas, Mexican rice, and I'd have to check the menu to remember what else. I check the menu when we get to work and we just cook whatever is on it. (This is our volunteer job 3 days a week.)
