O come all ye listen
To these words I have to say
Of the man from Bethlehem
We still profess to love today
He is the King of Angels
And He rules the earth and skies
But sometimes I get the impression
He thinks of us and cries
O how we've come to annoy Him

O sing choir of angels
Of all man's wayward deeds
We treat each other so rudely
Filled with lust and greed
We go to church on Sunday
But on Mondays cuss our boss
It's like we don't even get the story
Of that day on Calvary's cross

O come and feel His shame
As another cheats his wife
Watch the Savior's tears flow freely
As someone wields a knife
This isn't what He taught us
It's not the reason He was born
God made flesh with a peaceful heart
That you and I have torn

We don't deserve His love or forgiveness. He did not die on the cross for us because we deserved salvation. He did it because He loves us.

I was told today that the place we looked at would not be given to us..
Just because we have a home to live in.
Now, that made me angry.
We're trying to get rid of a burdensome house that costs us way too much money.
And, now it's supposedly a strike against us?
I'm so very annoyed myself right now, that I just want to..
I can't even finish this sentence..

Let's have less whining
and more praise,
so we're less annoying
until eternity's days.
We do live in a sorry world. There is so much evil, greed and injustice all around us. All we can do is keep HIM in our hearts and minds, while trying to live by His word and expectations.
I think that rather than being annoyed, I think He spends a large portion of His time, forgiving us. But, I do think that He will return soon enough. I look forward to that day.
That always makes me feel better. Well my singing don't do any thing, but that amazing grace shure is amazing. God bless.
