There is a new gather group: Did That Freebie Work? It is for gather members to post about their experiences with products they have received for free. Did you love it, hate it? Will you try it again?
Well, I came across a new site over the weekend that memebers of this group and any who like to request freebies, may want to check out. It is a blog called: Freebies and Much More.
It is a professional looking site and has up to date freebies listed. From what I read she will not list a freebie until she gets it, or requests it, herself to be sure they are not going to spam the person requesting the sample
There are also lists of survey sites, grocery sample sites and product testing sites. She keeps it up to date daily so you know what you find there is going to work.
And it looks like each month she has a freebie give away. In June it was a $25 Lowes gift card and a bag full of freebies and coupons she received (two different giveaways). For July it is a $50 Amazon gift card. She has various ways listed for you to earn entries--sign up for the newsletter, mention it in your blog, twitter about it and others (too bad gathering isn't included).
So if you want some freebies to test check it out.

This looks like a great site! I'm going to check it out, now. Thanks!
Thanks C.L. I use shop4freebies and have never had a problem with them. I did't get some I signed up for that I heard about on gather though. So I know that you can get spammed with them. I will check this one out.
Thank you C.L., for sharing my group!! It sounds like a great site. I love that she doesn't share it until she gets it, so you know that it works! And you can't beat contests like that!
I would say that Gathering should count! It's almost like blogging or Twittering, and since your tags help people here find what interests them (and of course, your friends viewing your content) you will be giving her plenty of advertising!
Thanks C.L.R .Will check it out
C.L.R....thank you so much for posting about my site! I'll be adding "GATHERING" in a few minutes to the Giveaway. =-)
Alex in Wonderland...keep up the good work! I also do not post non-family friendly freebies (Maxim Magazine, etc). Call me old fashioned. =-)
Chris, thanks for stopping by!! I'll be back for more entries into the new July contest if "gathering" counts:)
And I LOOOOOOVE old fashioned:)
Wow this is really cool thanks so much for posting it Im going to be a coupon printing fool for the next hour or so lol
Wow, that sounds really great! I don't have a blog or do Twitter so will have to find other ways....LOL! I definitely will sign up for that one. Thanks so very much for posting this!
she added "gathering." Also, you can sign up for her email and it comes when she adds new freebies so you won't miss any.
Someone might suggest to her that Gathering would get her some traffic and be a valid way to earn an entry.
Old-fashioned is great by me, too!
She did add gathering:)
Cool site, a bit overloaded, tho'.
thanks for the info
Thank you dear.
I love freebies!
WOW - you know C.L. - if someone puts this much work into it and all I have to do is sign up and look and benefit from the coupons or might win a gc or some other goodie - well - twist my arm.
Thanks, I had been looking for one to join that is reliable.
LOL, Rose. I was excited to find it and she is even a member of gather:)
Thank you for the information.
Thanks for the information. Most of the freebies I go into , you have to put up so much information and then after wasting about 20 minutes, you are right back to answering the same questions, over and over,,,,,,,,so I just gave up.
Oh, I sympathize, I know a lot of them are a pain. The ones I have found on here so far only ask for name, address and maybe one or two questions and they are often optional. So it isn't as time consuming as some I have done.
The samples are often not worth a lot, but they often send some great coupons that I often use at CVS to make even a better deal.
