I have been getting pinged and PM's like crazy wanting to know where it is I find all of my coupons... so I have thought abotu it and I am going to try my best at compiling a list for you. Granted, some of the time I just happen upon things, so I will make this list and update you when I find more resources. ENJOY!
First of all
* Sunday papers-every Sunday (except on Holiday weeks) there are usually several coupon books...note, have your paper delivered it will also save you a ton of money. I get the paper every Sunday and Wednesday for $5.45 a month! That really beats paying $1.75 to $2 every sunday. To see a preview of what coupon books will be in what papers each week click here.
* Mail - I get tons of coupons in the mail everyday. Most come from the manufacturer. I get on websites for the products I like and sign up for mailing list, as well as any promos they offer. Another good tip is to sign up to get samples of products, they often come with high value coupons that you would not get online or in the paper.
Sample websites:
www.vocalpoint.com (Sign up for this and you will get geat samples and even greater coupons in the mail)
Proctor & Gamble site (Has new samples and coupons monthly)
www.houseparty.com (Great site where you sign up to "host" parties. They send you a kit full of freebies and you invite your friends over to try them, usually the kit includes lots of great coupons)
www.bzzagent.com (A marketing site where you get invited to join a campaign to try new products, they send you free items to try and you fill out online reports on your opinion on th product.
There are millions of free sample sites out there, just type t into your search engine...but beware...A truly free sample will not ask you for a CC# or anything about payment! You should not have to answer 10 pages worthof questions either! You may have to tell them what your race is or what texture hair you have (for shampoo samples), but that should be the extent of the questions.
Basically whatever product you like, go search online for it and you can probably go directly to their site and get a free sample. It amazes me that it is so easy, but always look on the Mfr. page for things like Promotions, or try me...usually will take you to a page to fill in to request your sample.
Online printable coupons - Again, there are millions of sites to go to. A few of my favorite are listed below. Most stores will take IP's in black and white so try not to waste your ink. If I see a coupon online for a product HAVE to have, or one that is something I know goes on sale on a regular basis, I rpint it right then! Most of the time you will go back in a few days and the coupon will be gone. Once it has reached its print limit it will be pulled. Also most coupon sites will let you print the coupon twice, then it will tell you that you have reached your print limit. On some of the sites, you can print 2 x then go to another site that has the same coupon and print them again, but not always.
www.coupons.com (check this one often, and new coupons are usually pt on at the first of every month)
www.redplum.com (Click on printable coupons on the left)
hot coupon world (Great forum of printable coupons)
slickdeals (HUGE list of printables - updated on a regular basis)
Pillsbury (Pillsbury and GM coupons)
Healthy Choices coupons for HealthyChoice, Egg Beaters, Hunts, etc.) (Changes periodically)
just printable coupons (Scroll down to the lower portion of the page and seea long list of IP's, not as reliable since I frequently find expired deals on there)
Eat Better America ( General Mills products)
Coolsavings (If you have ever tried to get on here and never got to the coupons...LOL...here is a direct link!)
Box Tops 4 Education (More Betty Crocker and GM coupons)
Of course there are lots more, but there are some of my favorites. I literally check HCW and SD on a daily basis! But if you are looking for ways other than printing or ordering them from Mfr's I suggest you start watching your stores. A lot of time up where the sale papers are in a store (and sometimes even on displays in the store) there will be coupon booklets. Sometimes I find them at the front of a store when I pick up a sale flyer, other times I notice them on the big cardboard stand up displays of items, or they will be on a tearbad by the product. Maybe you are not buying the product right now, so just pick one up for later. One big NO-NO is NEVER take a peelie off of a product unless you intend on buying it right then! This is a form of stealing. If you look, sometimes there are peelies on items that make it WORTH buying.
For example : Sargento cheese was on sale for $2 (really good price!) it was the provolone deli slices, and I wanted to splurge and buy them since the sale price was half the usual price...but my guilt told me no, you are the only one who eats it, spend the $2 on something everyone will enjoy. Then as fate would have it I noticed a 60¢ peelie on it! My store doubles coupons up to and including $1, so I got $1.20 off and only paid 80¢...I bought one, wanted to buy more, but the whole guilt thing again! LOL
I also utilize several websites that give you a heads up on what stores have the best savings and what coupons to use. This works more as a helper to me since none of them have the same stores I have, except for CVS and Walgreens. But it is very helpful to you if you can find onethat has the same stores.
My all time favorite site is:
They put post out daily on sales, coupons, deals, you name it they do it! Jenny (Site owner and Mod) is absolutely wonderful!
HCW also has a forum for grocery store deals that can be very helpful, and at the top of the page you will find a link to the coupon database that helps also!
I know there are lots more that I visit often, but I have to go finish dinner for my kids! LOL...
I think my next installment wil be...Hmmm...any ideas guys, or do you want me to keep rambling? LOL
