County Fair is one of our local grocery stores (we have 3 if you count WalMart). They usually have pretty good sales and best of all---they double coupons up to 50 cents every day. So if I can match a sale with a coupon I can get in on some good deals. They also have a stamp program where you get a stamp for every 5.00 you spend and it takes 9 stamps to fill a Saver Card. The Saver Card deals are usually pretty good. Here's what I got this week:
3 Gatorade - .39 each (weekly special when you use a Saver Card) = 1.17
6 Pringles - on sale for .88 each = 6/5.28 minus 2 coupons for .30/3 (doubled) = 6/4.08 or .68 each
4 Pillsbury pizza crust - on sale for 1.39 = 4/5.56 minus 4 (.40) coupons (doubled) (3.20) = 4/2.36 or .59 each
8 Daisy sour cream - on sale for .99 = 8/7.92 minus 8 (.50) coupons (doubled to sale price) (7.92) = FREE
Bananas - 1.84 lb @ .69/lb = 1.27 no coupons :(
3 bags of stir-fry vegetables - on sale for 1.00 each = 3.00 no coupons :(
Chicken in a Bisket - 4.49 minus coupon for 4.49 (see below) = FREE
Planters peanuts - 4.67 minus coupon for 4.67 (see below) = FREE
Kraft Singles - 3.99 minus coupon for 3.99 (see below) = FREE
The free coupons were from a contest that I entered in January and won. The Kraft company gave away a ton of coupons and I was one of the lucky winners.
Total price - 37.35
Coupons - 25.47
Tax - 1.96
My Total = 13.84
