It pays to check the mark-downs after the holidays.

I was at Walmart the other night and thought I would check out some of the Valentine markdowns. None of the candy or "junk" was cheap enough for me (I like FREE). Then I glanced at another lady's cart and she had Valentine cookies. I thought maybe they were marked down too, so I went back to the refrigerated section.

JACKPOT!!! They were normally priced at $2.50, so they were marked 1/2 price for $1.25. I had coupons for $1.00 off any Nestle Ready-to-Bake Cookies. So I got 10 packages of cookies for 25 cents a package.

This is 10 packages for the price of 1 at regular price. WOO-HOO!!! We are set for cookies for a while (we don't care what they look like). And these even came with a packet of icing. BONUS!

I love holiday markdowns  :)
