January 10 Shopping Trip--What a haul

I am finally feeling a little better, and since yesterday was the last day of some awesome sales, I had to go shopping. Here's a breakdown of what I got---

4 boxes Special K on sale for $2.50 = $10.00 minus 3 ($1.00) coupons minus the $3.00 Register Reward (RR) that printed out = $4.00 ($1.00/box)

1 Centrum Original on sale for $7.00 plus 1 Centrum Silver on sale for $7.00 plus 1 Dimetapp (big bottle) on sale for $6.00 = $20.00 minus 2 ($3.00) coupons on Centrum and 1 ($2.00) coupon on Dimetapp = $12.00 minus $10.00 RR that printed for buying $20.00 worth of product = $2.00 ($.67/each)

2 TheraFlu Warming on sale for $5.00 = $10.00 minus 2 ($2.00) coupons = $6.00 minus $5.00 RR that printed for buying $10.00 worth of product = $1.00 ($.50/each)

30 boxes of South Beach cereal bars on sale for $2.50 each = $75.00 minus 30 ($2.00) coupons = $15.00 ($.50/each)

1 box Kashi cereal bars for $3.79 minus 1 Try Me Free coupon ($3.79) = FREE

18 bottles of Gatorade on sale for $.79 = $14.22 (No coupons-Boo Hoo) ($.79/each)

2 cartons Daisy cottage cheese for $3.29 = $6.58 minus 2 ($.75) coupons (doubled at KMart this week) = $3.58 ($1.79/each)

2 Hormel Compleats meals on sale for $2.00 = $4.00 minus 2 (1.00) coupons (doubled at KMart) = FREE

3 Crest toothpaste on sale for $2.50 = $7.50 minus 3 ($.75) coupons (doubled at KMart) = $3.00 ($1.00/each)

4 bags Russell Stover candy  for $2.19 = $8.76 minus 2 in-store coupons at Walgreens (B1G1F) = $4.38 minus 1 manufacturer coupon (B2G1F) = $2.19 ($.55/each)

3 Hersheys candy bars on sale for $.50 each = $1.50 (No coupons-Boo Hoo) ($.50/each)

 Total cost for all of these items was $46.49 plus tax.

My total out-of-pocket (OOP) was only $40.39 (including approx. $8.00 in tax) because I had a WalMart giftcard from Christmas that I used when I price-matched some of the stuff at WalMart.

Plus I will get back $11.00 in Walgreens rebates on the South Beach bars ($5.50 each for me and my daughter--I'm trying to teach her how to do this). So my actual cost for all of this stuff was $35.49.

Boy did I have fun!!!!! And it was worth every time I coughed while I was shopping (but boy was I tired when I got home).

Now today I just have to find a place to stack everything and rest up for the next trip.
