Christmas Long distance

wasn't all that bad

with the pictures sent e-mail

of the family homestead

First I wil show sweet Jeffery

that we all prayed for health

along with proud brother Jayden

on Santa Claus' lap

Photos passed by email

while laughter heard on the phone

I would not let me be lonesome

even when quite alone

This stockings hung on the fish tank with glee

set the mood of the day

and it was Jolly

each call a present of love

That was given to me

A break down in his Hummer

couldn't keep away first son Billy

He knew great food would be served brought by the whole family

Hearing sweet Lisa voice playing on my C.D.

as her son Jakey boy got to listen to the real thing

thank God for the nextell

we talked and beep beeped for free
