shopping Dec 22 2008

twas the night before the night before the night before Christmas, and stores were crowded, parking lots full but spots available. Cash register had only one or 2 people there in a line, and there was no wait.

I had to do my last minute stocking stuffer shopping, and while I did it all at 5 below and a coffee shop, I have to say there was no wait, parking spaces were available, and stores while 'busy' had plenty of merchandise available to choose from.

So I think we are going to see that spending is down, and that while people are spending it is going to be less that is spent

Too cold to go out. I hate the nasty cold. I have friends that went out an dloved it though.

I liked the cold, I was out in shorts and a t-shirt, and being thankful that it was helping me and my headache.

I don't mind the cold but I hate cold wind! At least you're shopping, Mooch - you can't be too much of a humbug.

I went out this morning and it was rather easy. I went to Wal Mart first and I had no problem. It was a little more crowded for that time in the morning, but not bad at all. Then, I went to Sam's Club, which had opened up early for this week. Hardly anyone was there, either, probably because people didn't know they were open for all members early that day.
