My 3 year old nephew is at it agian.

 Since my younger sister moved here with my nephew Peyton and my neice Hanna. My nephew Peyton found his train that I thought I had hid and took it upstairs. Earlier that same week he found a little Thomas the Railroad train that I had bought him earlier in the year. I told him it was for someone else. I felt bad because he got mad and cried. At the same time I don't have a lot to spend this year. As far as the little train set I got him he has it already. So since he got that I gave Hanna butterfly wings that I had bought her. So like last year in 2007 they are at it again. Finding there Christmas presents to soon. I had to rehide the rest of them. Of course my neice says every day she needs more toys to play with. I think she has more toys then me or my sister ever had. Kids are really something else I tell you.

I remember those I think in the 70s or 80s. I miss a lot of older toys that aren't out anymore.

Your nephew will be glad when he finally does get to open his presents. I guess I looked around for my presents when I was a child. I occasionally found them, but I never told my parents I found them. I think I found a couple of gifts just one year. I felt so bad about it that I never did it again. : )

Kids are too much in to technology these days......going outside is "way too boring" to the majority of kids....especially with computers, Wii's, Nintendo's, Game Boys, etc., etc......I remember I used to hide Christmas presents in my clothes dryer!!!!!! Hiding them in a car trunk is also a good idea! That's a bummer when the kids find presents way too early!!!

Are they living with you now Shaunee? If so, your sister needs to teach them to respect your things. I never would have dared look through my parents things when I was a kid or else I wouldn't have got anything for Christmas. One thing we did a lot when my girls were little was put things on lay-away and not get them out until the last day possible. Then we would wrap everything and put them in our room. The kids knew they were not to go into that pile of gifts or there would be BIG trouble. LOL (If they snooped, I never found out about it.)

My kids always asked for more, but I simply said no. I didn't have the money. Now that they are teens their toys are more expensive, and I really can't afford it. They have learned to make do and feel blessed with what they have.

Yeah they live her now. My sister and her husband both live upstairs. It is hard the way I am paid to put things on layawy. Walmart closed ours out and a lot of things I buy is from amazon Sandra.

Why did Wal-mart do that? It really ticks me off. I loved using their lay away so I didn't have to worry about hiding stuff. I like Amazon too Shaunee.

I wish I knew that also. I miss their layawy. Of course I could look at Kmart and see what they have. They have layaway. I just hardly every go to Kmart.That is about the only 2 big stores we have which is sad besides dollar tree and dollar stores.

I've always told my kids that if they find their Christmas presents, I'm taking them back and they wont' get any! :) (I wouldn't really do that, but I'd probably return them for something else just so they wouldn't get what they found). But, fortunately for me, my kids leave it alone. I put them in a suitcase that is in my closet and they've never figured it out yet (they are 4 & 7)

Need to put a little padlock on a pantry or closet door that way even if they know it's there they can't look! lol kids are curious creatures for sure!

It only gets worse as they get older. To bad we always run out of hiding spots.I actually have most my daughter's items hidden at my mom's and grandma's at the moment. Between my daughter getting in to things,having no room and moving I needed somewhere else to put them.

lol I finally hid them under my bed sheets in my dresser. They both looked they didn't have a clue to look underneath to see if the presents where there. Of course now they are all gone.
