We put up our Christmas Tree

Due to being out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided to pull our Christmas tree out of storage. I wanted to have a relaxed time putting the tree up and let the kids help us put on the ornaments. We brought in the boxes and had the living room filled up with Christmas things.



Here is our Christmas Tree skirt. My favorite color is burgandy. So our skirt is made up of burgandy, gold, and hunter green.

                Here's Maddie and Aidan helping to put ornaments on the tree in their Christmas shirts on the top, and their PJ pants on the bottom. ha ha ha

                    



               













The kids are happy. The tree is up. The lights are looking pretty at night. Whew!! Got that part over with! ha ha ha 

We have stockings and outdoor lights, and a lighted wreath for the door. We will wait until after Thanksgiving for all of that, so the neighbors won't think we have gone completely crazy.

Looks like the kids had fun decorating the tree. I haven't even thought about getting ours out of the shed yet let alone putting it up.

JR---We are going to my parents home in St. Louis for Thanksgiving. My Dad always cooks a big beautiful meal with all the trimmings. We are also celebrating my brother and my Mom's birthdays. They both had a birthday in November.

Ang, alot of people I have talked to on Gather are not excited at all about putting up their tree. I always get excited about Christmas. I'm like a little kids when it comes to the holidays.

Your children are so precious -- talk about angels. I'm like you, Monica, I love burgandy, gold and green. As a matter of fact, my whole home is done primaraily in these colors. Every ornament on our tree is "gold".

This has pushed me a little more into wanting to put my tree up! But we have Thanksgiving here and with a tree up it would be like X-mas so we put it up the day after!!

I love the tree skirt and the angel. I want an angel for my tree but I haven't been able to find one that I really like. Maybe this year I will.

Aubrey----I waited until after Christmas one year when things were on clearance and bought that angel for my tree. I didn't want to pay full price, but I wanted that burgandy angel.
