Ok, so I have been trying be active on Gather today... reading, commenting etc on and off all day. What is really strange is when I type a reply and hit submit it just sits there as if it's going to time out. When I refresh the page, my comment is no longer in the submit box but it's also not posted.
Now the weird part.
My comments are going through because people are responding to them and when I go look, sure enough my original comment is there.
Is this common and I have just never had it happen to me before or is it just a glitch for today?

It has happened to me a lot. I hit refresh, and re-submit, but sometimes it's there. Weird.
have had that happen too :) sometimes my comments are posted twice...your comment is there, you'll see it later

It has happened to me quite often only when I hit refresh my comment usually shows up.
I sometimes don't see them until I reload
It's been happening to me today - comments disappear - or I can't comment or it shows up with a delay. Gather glitch I bet.

try clearing cache and cookies, but if you clear your browser history its gone forever.

GLITCH~ happens all the time~I've learned to ignore it because the comment actually does pop into the article comment section~ yay for gather ;)
