It helps to achieve the "Most viewed", "most discussed" (comments), and the "highest rated" for visability

No, I don't always rate or comment on pages that I view. If think it deserves a rating or a comment, then I would do one of either. But, I don't "troll" people. I have noticed, though, a lot of people getting poor ratings lately.

I rate sometimes, most often when I don't necessarily have a comment to leave but want to leve SOMEthing on a post. But, I don't always rate a "10," I rate what I think the post IS, which probably makes me a "troll" by most Gather standards!

I do not rate everything i view. Somethings i do not feel deserve a ten...such as ajoke that was copy and pasted. But i found the joke amusing. So, I didn't want to low rate it either. Just view and leave no comment.

I rate only because it is a way of making sure that it shows a view. I always read what I get, but I don't usually have time to comment.

I read everything my connections post, sometimes I comment and/or rate, never lower than a ten though. Sometimes I don't have a comment so I just DB10.
For my group I view everthing, rate a ten, and always a comment and/or a thank you.

I only rate when I remember to. And I only comment when I have something to say.. like now.. I don't have anything to say.. so I just won't comment ... but since I was reminded I will give you a 10 :P~~~~~~~~~

I rarely remember to rate. Since it doesn't help with points, I don't see the point in doing it and it slows me down. I rarely view without commenting either though unless I realize I've already commented or unless I can't think of anything positive to say! :)
