Our family decided to make a gingerbread house this year. We bought a kit at the grocery store; over Christmas break the kids get really bored, and this was something they could do during the day to keep busy.
Putting together the gingerbread house was pretty simple, since all of the pieces came prebaked and pre-cut.
The boys had fun icing the roof. My oldest son threatened to get me with his "Icing Pistol."
The three kids took a lot of time and care into decorating the house.
They had a lot of fun with it.
Then they showed off the finished product.
My youngest son wanted to take an up-close picture of the finished house. Doesn't it look cute?

I'm wondering if I could get my daughter to bake the ginger bread though

Maybe Walmart still has them on clearance, I can pick one up and do it on a rain day just for fun!
