There are many ways to make frugal gifts for Christmas. Yes, it is even possible to make really nice gifts for the kids. Each of us are talented in different areas so not all gifts are perfect for us as individuals to make. My Husband is very talented at woodworking. I on the other hand am not.
Each year around this time, my husband can be found in the garage working on his Christmas gifts any time he has a spare moment. I just thought I would share his projects with you. He makes everything himself. He did purchase a board for these boxes and a purchased dowel for the handle. He used old pallets for the tools.
Many places will give you pallets for FREE if you haul them off. All you have to do is take them apart and remove the nails for instant wood for woodworking.
All these toys are cut out by hand. The Pliars are openable and closeable. He handpaints all his gifts.
He made both of our Grandkids a tool box complete with tools. I only have photos of the boys set because he had the girls set wrapped already.
This is really hard for him because he has very little free time. He enjoys making gifts for the family though.
