These adorable home-made piggy banks are a great way to teach the skill of saving money. They have clear centers so the child can see the money as it adds up in the bank.
Each year around this time, my husband can be found in the garage working on his Christmas gifts any time he has a spare moment. I just thought I would share his projects with you. He makes everything himself.

He hand paints all the items that he makes himself.
He hand-made these really cool Piggy banks. One just cannot teach the art of saving money too early to our Grand-kids. These are so cute. He made the clear section from plexiglass.

Each of these photos were taken on my sewing table.
These are very frugal to make. You can usually get stores to give you the wooden pallets that they have laying around. You will need to purchase the plexiglass but you can get it at Lowes or Home depot. It is not expensive. I am so proud of my multi-talented husband
