First off, let me tell you, I am a horror and Halloweenie buff. My livingroom is decorated with skulls, witches, coffins and all kinds of creepy crawling loves. The walls are covered with horror signs, movie posters and such. So when folks come over for Christmas they suspect to see the same thing, a bit of scare here and there, and ummm...they are right. I can't take down all my fun horror. Oh, I take everything off the shelves for my santa collection, but under the tree is always a couple of my babydolls. (dead dolls I make) and the skulls just end up with Santa hats on them. Oh, and this year, I am seriously thinking of doing a Halloween tree...sorta...kinda. I saw some neato looking orange and black christmas ornament balls, and I already have tons of black and orange lights. Then thinking for all presents underneath, only orange and black, maybe a scatter of blood red just for the ooze look.
So just wondering, who else might have a strange or different way to decorate Christmas...or any ideas for me to even go further? LOL

Meby you could hang some severed limbs, paint some balls to look like heads ect. my boys said just do what you want and then it is yours!!
Don't even like horror films, they remind me of Disney Movies.
They've all grown up, and moved out, so I don't even have to put up a tree!
I go see theirs, if they ask, and tell them how beautiful it is, how good it smells (pine boughs underneath the tree, instead of a tree skirt.)
But, I can see where a "theme'd christmas" would be a cool thing.
Let's see? What would be horrible? Horror filled?
