Holiday Baking Photo Contest: Bake Up Some Photos to Win Points & Prizes

‘Tis the season to gobble up goodies! And for a lot of us, baked treats are topping our wish list of want-to-eats. To celebrate the season and our love of all things tasty, we’re throwing a holiday baking photo contest! To enter, just share some photos of your best holiday baked goods for a chance to win 500 Gather PointsTM, a copy of Modern Baker, a $100 Williams-Sonoma gift card, and more.

 








Prizes

  • Four runners-up will receive a copy of Modern Baker and 500 Gather Points
  • Grand Prize winner will receive a copy of Modern Baker, 500 Gather Points, a collection from the DK Cookbook Library & a $100 Williams-Sonoma® gift card

Rules

The start date for the contest is Monday, November 24th, and the contest ends at midnight on Friday, December 5th. Multiple entries are allowed – and encouraged!

How to Enter

Share your holiday baking photos by following these quick steps:

  • Click "Share" on the left of your My Gather page
  • Select "Share a Photo"
  • In the"Tags" field,include the tag"holidaybaking" with no spaces, separated from any other tags by a comma
  • Under"Who can view my post," select "Everyone"
  • Click "Submit"

Note: Winners will be announced Friday, December 12 by 5pm ET. Good luck!

This year, I am too ill to even eat Thanksgiving dinner cooked by somebody else--the very food will be harmful to me--let alone do any cooking myself. However, I have some nice photos of my baking from previous years. Including pumpkin pie so totally from scratch that it started with an actual whole pumpkin on the kitchen table. Are they admissible?

Yes, these photos are admissible, however, you must post them as new photos to Gather within the entry period.

I have a question, the contest is holiday baking so doesnt the entries have to actually be baked? I seen some interesting entries of non backed but still yummy looking sweets, Im a bit confused about what you are considering "baking"

Like Lina asked above, I also just posted several photos with the tag holidaybaking but none of them show up when I click the link above. Does it take awhile for them to show up? I clicked for everyone to see but didn't choose the Gather essentials food group, should I have selected that as well?

I'll do what I can to enter this. I did take pictures of the table on Thanksgiving I just have to download the Active-X to load photos at Gather. I hate that I have to download more software just to do that now.

Well I see my photos finally showed up so I guess it just takes awhile. I'm enjoying viewing others photos. Good luck everyone. I don't have a digital camera that takes good photos but my sister let me borrow hers. I love cookbooks so I couldn't resist entering this contest, of course the gift card and points are a nice incentive too.
