Hi everyone, been a little behind schedule with the updates but we've been really busy behind the scenes getting things worked out on the second rpg on the site! There really has been A LOT of stuff going on! So I'm skipping some of the normal updates to get everything in here and not going on and on. Too late? Oops!
New Members:
Well goodness, there's been alot of new people over the past couple of weeks! And we welcome them all, but since there's so much updating to do, we're going to have to skip naming them one by one this time. BUT that doesn't mean we don't appreciate them!!
NOW speaking of new members: IF you join DS from Gather please put Gather as your referrer when you're filling out your membership form! This helps us figure out if I'm boring people with the updates and where my work is most productive.

Destasia makes a deal with the Gallu offering to turn over a Charonte demon dark hunter if they will run amuck through New Orleans turning humans into mindless zombies under their control.
While they are distracted saving the worthless humans, (food for her) Dez and her sister will (or try to) destroy the DarkHunter Estate. After all, if the darkhunters have no place to retreat to before the sun rises, they'll all die. With no one to stop them, Dez and Cyra and all their relatives will reclaim New Orleans and return to feeding on the all-you-can-eat buffet dinner also known as Mardi Gras.
And then there's the fact that Dez is a bit unhinged and hellbent on revenge for her sister being hurt. No, it doesn't matter that Cyra was back to her normal self the next day, it's the principal of the matter!
So pick a side and join us in the fun!
UPDATE ON THE SUB RPG!!
A second rpg has been added and is NOW OPEN!! After 6 long months of delays and Real Life Issued causing problems. I think it is a unique idea and will have a broader appeal to general RPGers. Here's what we've done:
It's called Temporal Sanctum because it's a sanctuary that exists outside of normal time. We usually shorten it down to TS. There's something for everyoe from Sci Fi buffs to fantasy and charmed fans! We've got people from the future enhancing themselves with technology, changing their DNA. (Think: Cyberpunk, Dark Angel, Ultra Violet, Dr. Moreau and Borg.) We've got Vampires, Weres, Elves, Gods and Goddesses and even aliens! They're probably based on sightings of our friends hidden in the sanctuary.
TS is a little more open as far as creativity goes because it's a general rpg, based on well known legends and myths. There's no books to read or movies to watch, anyone can pick it up just by reading a few posts about the rpg. The Premise for TS is posted here and you can read them both before joining, so you'll have an idea of what's going on before you arrive on the board!
This RPG picks up where the Board Premise left off, only hundreds of years later. The people from those world are now refugees on Earth, they are the reasons behind legendary creatures.
Located just outside of New York, they were put there long before anyone thought of settling the Americas. And while time inside the Sanctuary seems to stand still (it really just moves at a different pace) the world outside has progressed into modern times. With the technology advances being made and resources running thin, our refugees have no choice but to reveal themselves and hope that they can live peacefully with the humans.
If you're a fan of True Blood you'll have a pretty good idea of how to play along on the board.
If only it was that easy!
If it was? Well we wouldn't have an interesting rpg to play with now would we? Fighting for rights, prejudices and other problems will make things difficult for everyone! Humans and Others alike.
