The Terrible Shazanki

One sure thing I know, no Dwarf or Elf child ever wants to meet a Shazanki!

A Dwarf legend freely shared with the little Cave Elves of Southern Glormouria's Thukkian Mountains is that of the Sazanki.

They claim these awful beasts live in the depths of their mine caves. Way in the back. They do not eat the children. Oh no, they are not so lucky as that.

If you ever have the foolish audacity to defy your parents and go clear to the back of the mine, you are instantly captured and taken to their lair.

Once there, they set you to work cleaning and dusting, polishing and scrubbing; for they are very dirty beasts, and hate dirty homes at the same time.

So mind your parents, and do not - ever - go down to the back of a dwarf mine. Or - you just may never escape the Shazanki.

They love watching children working................
