Tom, seems like a site whose time had come. what do you find of most interest about it? I read with interest the article they linked to about non profits and social media, which I think has many implications for for profit organizations as well.
Will people become less wordy if they use Twitter? Can they adequately communicate their thoughts and feelings on Twitter? Will Twitterers forget words and meanings of words and develop ESP? Will communication via sound, excuse me, Twitter bites help humans evolve?
I would have given my eye teeth for this info about 2 years ago while researching social media for a project we were vetting. Other than subscribing to database services for quite a hefty annual fee, there really wasn't any realiable info out there.
Goes to show just how much social media has exploded in that time period.
