Rainbow at Sunset

These were taken one night last week just as the sun was about to set. We had a light shower and this pretty rainbow appeared.

At first it was hard to see through the clouds, but it gradually became clearer.

As the rainbow faded away sunset arrived.

It was a beautiful sighting to end the day.
