I'm curious about viewing pictures on Gather.
In my opinion, it's so much easier to load a group of three pictures than it is of one, but it seems when I do this my pics don't get as many views as I would hope for.
Me, I like looking at individual pics or a group of 3. Large albums seem to take much longer to view than if they are posted individually. But that's just my opinion.
I would much rather load pictures the way people would like to view them than not. So with that being said, what would you rather see one picture at a time or a group of 3 pictures or a full album of pictures?

I usually do five, 3 is good also.
I tend not to view large groups of pictures at one time. I like the smaller posts, 3 to 5, it makes it easier for me to enjoy other peoples pictures.
I think a lot of people don't like it when several pictures are uploaded at one time. Espically to groups. They feel like is too much and takes away from other peoples pictures.
Personally, I dont care if its 1 or 100, as long as they are interesting pictures. 2 or 3 different pictures are more likely to get views from me than 50 pictures of the same flower or person.
It seems to me that my photos receive more views when I upload them 1 at a time. I used to do 3 or 5 but I never got as many views. As for viewing, I like small numbers. It is time consuming to view a whole album.

I prefer to load three at a time.......I like viewing smaller numbers, not albums.
Hmmm, the weird thing is, I never worried about views to my photos lol. I guess I just assumed no one would look! I am always surprised when I go back and find that I got comments lol. When I have time, I enjoy going to my contacts and looking through all their pics, either in albums or posted one at a time. If someone posts a bunch and they show in my friends feed while I am on, I just look at them all right then. I guess none of that answers your question though! The truth is, I don't think it matters to me!
I like the smaller groups of 3-5. I don't look at larger batches or tons of photos that have been loaded singly by one person one after the other.
I like to a few at time. People have a short attention span. LOL And while I generally will look at albums I won't comment on them if there are a bunch.
I make sure to view all pictures of members. I find that when I do post a lot at time, I don't get views maybe one or two. It doesn't matter to me, I just like to look at pictures and comment if need be.
I like uploading three at a time. If it's for a specific photo challenge then I may only have one. Wish I knew how to get more photo views:)
As far as looking at pics - I prefer three. However, when I am catching up with my favorite group of friends then I'll go back and look at all of their pics that they posted since I looked last.
As far as albums - my fav connections don't do albums - others, I'll look at 1 to 3 pics out of their album.
I find I tend to only look at pictures if they are uploaded one at a time. If i have extra time, I may view a whole album, but that is rare. I also get more views if I load one picture at a time. It is annoying, however, if my feed is filled with someone's pictures of flowers, loaded one at a time.
I rarely load more than one (especially not of the same subject). It seems you DO get more views if they are spread out throughout the day.
One at a time is my preference for viewing and posting. Of course, photo essays are my favorite and I often wonder why people post many photos all of the same place instead of doing an essay. I don't open albums. When someone posts three photos at a time I'll usually look at the photos that look interesting to me, sometimes it's all three but usually just one or two.
I'm really good about viewing and commenting when there are only a few pic's to look at...When it's a large album I'll look at two or three and move on, especially when all the pic's are basically the same!
I do what i feel fit the essay,, otherwise I do it invidually on the picture side,,,
I don't even look at albums when all the pictures are right there to see. I'm not wasting time looking at each one individually. Any more than three publish at the same time; after the first three, I don't bother taking the time looking for the rest. I will view individualy shots, but if they're all of the same subject; I don't even bother looking at that person's work again when it's all the same. The ones who pump out tons of pictures are only here for points; not creativity and quality. They don't get any hlp from me and usually get disconnected.
I only do one at a time. Quality over quantity. I'll look at photos when people upload 3-5 as long as their different. But some people do 10-40 at a time and I just don't look.
