Mom's Creamy Chocolate Icing

This recipe is easy and simple to make. This was one of my mother's recipes.  She gave me this recipe before she died.

1 lb. confectioners sugar                1 tsp. vanilla

1 stick of butter or margarine          4 1/2-5 tbsp. milk

3 tbsp. cocoa

Measure all ingredients in a large bowl.  Beat with a electric mixer, on medium speed, until blended.  Makes 2 cups.

I make this, only I use 1/2 cup of cocoa and a dash of salt. I also use leftover coffee (when I have some). The coffee gives it a more chocolately flavor.

I use less milk than that in my frosting, only if it is to dry to I ad a bit more, I try for 1-2 tsp at a time
