Happy Valentine's Day to you!
I hope you get a chance to enjoy the day with your sweetie!
It's a beautiful day here in Florida, the sky is blue and the sun is shining.
No fancy Valentine's dinner out for us this year:), but we do have plans! We are heading out to a local Saturday Morning market to check out their fresh fruit, veggies, arts and crafts and other goodies.
I love those type of outings, they always feel like an event:) I'm hoping to find some whimsical garden decor to spruce up the wall by the carport and some honey for Richard.

I'm looking forward to brunch afterward, at a place called the Water Witch, an old tattered looking building near the water which serves up some of the best practically home-cooked food with fresh herbs from their own garden.
It always amazes me that so few people patronize it, the tourists all head for the commercial restaurant down the street with the usual burger and fries and grouper sandwiches. They just don't know what they are missing - so be a little daring when you are out and about, it may just turn out to be wonderful:)
I am planning on a nice supper in our garden gazebo this evening, playing our favorite music and enjoying the splashing of our fountain.
In between we'll be hanging laundry in the yard and planting herbs, veggies and flowers in our spring garden - life is good.
My philosophy is to enjoy life and I relish every opportunity to celebrate while we can - wherever whenever. Have a great weekend!
Happy Valentine's Day!

"I once had a rose named after me and I was very flattered. But I was not pleased to read the description in the catalogue: no good in a bed, but fine up against a wall."

LOL with that Eleanor Roosevelt quote!
We're getting a fine, fresh layer of snow today. We're waiting for the chairlift guy to come and remove the beast. Later, we're going to a little bistro that is just to die for, then we're going to curl up on the couch and watch Amelie.
Life is good.
I laughted too
Blessings always...
Love the 'rose plate' and would love to see what it looks like - the pendant is beautiful!
