Yeah! I am back on-line after a rather.......

abrupt cut off! I was sitting here Gathering and enjoying myself when all of a sudden my computer went off-line.  After trying to reboot and getting no results I went out and checked my telephone......guess what? No dial tone!... I knew that the phone company was doing some digging in my yard to install our new FIOS cable so I went out and they were loading the equipment onto the truck, said they were all finished.  I said I didn't think so since they must have cut my phone line.....they checked and that's what they did!  It took about four hours but we are back in service with a temporary line going across the front lawn.  They will come in the morning and finish.  My neighbor had hers done last Thursday and they did the same thing to her line......I'm just happy it's back and I can Gather some more!

Geez, you would think that thay would have been more careful especially having it happen while doing your nieghbors. Good thing you knew. Glad your back on line. Have fun gathering. Have a good day. Glad you were able to catch them. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago except they managed to escape before I figured out what had happened. Welcome back to Gather!

Wow, that sure was a bummer! I've had that happen here as well, and it is sooo annoying....but, at least you were able to get it taken care of right away!!!!!

Good thing you caught them! I get my internet through my cable co. I don't even have a "landline" anymore. I've never heard of FIOS. I'm gonna have to Google that one!
