Earlier i heard on the news that Obama wants to replace the Bowling area he has in the White House and put a Basketball court in.....
now i am wondering if he will pay for this with our tax money????
or will he use the money he earns as a president????
or is he trying to stimulate the economy by having people work for him????
dont get this post wrong, i like Obama, but when i heard this, i really got confused, wasnt he for saving money and cutting state - government spending?????

Honestly I bet the taxpayers pay for it. Just like anything done to the white house they will say it is the peoples house.

Was it the feeling of redemption I got after the 8 years of Clinton bashing by having "W" step in one pile of dung after another for 8 years? Will it be the satisfaction of listening to the "W" apologists and impotent remnents of the GOP attack each other AND Obama for every wild imagining they can come up with for the NEXT 8 years? Hmmmm! This is gonna take a WHOLE lot of pondering!

He has one of the toughest jobs in the world. If he de-stresses with basketball, that's a good idea. And I bet he has a budget. So far, he's left lots the same...tho he said he was going to take the plates down that Mrs. Bush put on the walls...he's not much of a plate guy.

If I were president I would show up to a black tie affair in my payless shoes (no Jimmy Choo's for me!) and my designer knock-off dress from Target! Why can't normal people get elected that actually know what a monthly budget is?
Oh, and do you know how many frickin' Christmas trees they decorate in the Whitehouse? I mean, I know people may have more than one, but one for each room is rediculous. I think it is time for Washington and ALL presidents and first ladies to come back to reality and have to live like normal Americans do. I sure wish I had someone to cook for me everyday!
