Why is it

That every day seems to be a war with my 5 yr old?? She has a total melt down over the tiniest things and does stop till things are all caotic... Then when her 2yr old sister sees that her sister is freaking she has to have her own little delema... HELP!!

I know the feeling. But my problem child is 73 year old woman and when she has a pissy day my 15 year old doesn't help matters much either. Just enjoy them when they are little, soon they'll be teenagers and nothing you do will make them happy, until they turn 20 or so. My oldest tell me all the time now he wishes he'd listened to me when he was a teenager.

It is all about choices with children. try giving them two choices ( over the thing you want done. Example do you want to wear the red shirt or the blue one? They then will do what you want and feel like they made the choice. Chose your battles wisely with them. I hope this works for you.

Let me tell ya, it doesn't get any better......even our son, at 21, still has his melt downs......arghhhhhh............he was starting to get obnoxious at lunch today and quite the "snotty" attitude. Told him to knock it off....that I was not in the mood for an "attitude" issue......arghhhhhh!
