Extraordinary Mothers - a cute video

My friend sent me this cute video because she knew it would make me smile.  It's about animals and how easily they share their mother instincts with other baby animals that have lost their own mothers.  I have always found these stories so amazing, the biggest predator that would normally devour any other animal smaller than itself becomes a great mother to a baby of another species.  I've never seen this though other than dogs and cats or maybe a cat with bunnies once I think.  This little video is really amazing, showing some extraordinary animals and their adopted babies.



I hope you find it as heart warming as I have.

I remember seeing a news article about how most animals (mostly mammals) have an instinctual limit when it comes to babies. It doesn't matter what species the baby is, but anything from newborn to the point where it is no longer helpless is off limits. I guess if there is any fairness in life, that is exactly where it is at.
