My kids LOVE doing crafts and I have posted several photo essays of them doing crafts here on Gather! It's fun for them and it also let's them be creative and imaginative.
Last week while Chandler was at school, Stephy asked me if she could do a nature craft. We had been reading about "nature crafts" in a magazine the kids have. Of course the answer was YES! They can do a craft anytime they want to. :)
Stephy went out in the yard and gathered leaves, sticks, pine needles and pince cones all on her own. She had fun doing that in itself! We put everything on the table and she went to work...

Paying it Forward --- Catching up on past days !
Earlier this fall I took Elliott's Puggles class on a nature walk, and we picked out lots of colorful leaves. We then took a coloring page of blank leaves and them them color, and then glue the leaves onto it. For 2-3 year olds, the glue sticks were the best part, LOL!
I'm really looking forward to finding some easy, but fun crafts here on Gather for his class now that I'll be teaching it.
This post is spotlighted on the Wednesday edition of Today On Gather.
