I'm reading the wonderful new Bourne books I won on Gather! I've always been a voracious reader, although spending too much time at the computer does eat into reading time...
On deck is The Raspberry Girl by Gather's own Selene, which I want to reread and give a rave review. After that is Any Minute, which I won here on Gather from Sandy :) hh
I love the Women's Murder Club books. You will really enjoy them. I think the 8th book has come out and I need to get a hold of that one. I like the "In Death" series by JD Robb (Nora Roberts). I haven't read any of those for a while and know I have a lot of catching up to do. My favorite though is Debbie Macomber. I have her new Christmas book sitting beside me. I'm trying to hurry through other borrowed books so I can sit down with this one!
I love to read also, James Patterson of course. Right now I am reading Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult about a family with a disabled daughter who was born with OI. Sad but good story.
I have lots to read now that I picked up at the library book sale...pulled out Misery Mom's to start reading first...also waiting for the spine chilling books I won from gather--HH
Still reading "Angela's Ashes", a book I picked up at a flea mkt. for $3----it's excellent! I just started it then got interrupted with LIFE and a bunch of drama....have to pick it back up someday here. PIF
I was about to start "twillight" but I let my niece borrow it. Last night I started reading a book called "accidentally dead" by Dakota Cassidy. It's pretty funny so far! I have a couple of Debbie Macomber books to read too.
I have 7 books waiting to be read. 4 by Peter J. Swanson, 1 by Selene, 1 by David F, and 1 by a personal friend. I have ChristmaSin by Ed Williams ordered. I am waiting to order his other 2 books and the rest of Selene's. With all of that reading, I might have time to squeeze in 'real life' at some point.
I read horror and scifi mostly, I have been reading alot of vampire stuff for YA checking books for too much sex, fro my fourteen year old GD. I have a habit of reading her books before she does so I can talk them over with her. It is a good system. I am waiting on Frankenstien, Dead and Alive by Dean Koontz. PIF
My reading has slacked lately...but I've found a writer who has a Scrabooking Mystery Series -Laura Childs....she also has The Tea Shop Series. They are easy reads.....great for this busy time, I might only get two chapters a day but I don't feel lost when I pick up the book the next day....... ~~PIF
I'm mostly reading up my old stock- books I bought but never read. I just finished The Night Listener by Armistead Maupin and Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby (nonfiction, in spite of what you might suspect based on the movie). I had started Fever Pitch years ago but only read the first 1/3 until recently, when I finished it. I'm now reading a Mexican novel that my brother sent me, but I can't remember the author or title, having just started it.
