Hurray! I Redeemed my first time with Gather!

For many of you, redeeming a $10 giftcard here is no big deal. Not me, I'm too big a baby. Yesterday as I was watching my totals go up over the magic 600 total, I'd comment, then look, comment, then look, trying to get the points to budge, even a little. You can imagine how hard it was on me when I had to quit with 611 points total.

I joined Gather last year, couldn't figure out how the points worked and got involved in some other sites. People kept talking about the time they spent on Gather. I came back on Oct 24, 2008 and had 11 points. Since then I've explored Gather and really like most of what I've seen. Best yet, after being cheated by many other sites, I'm happy to find a site that actually pays as promised.

So, if you are a newbie, you'll understand how good it feels to finally reach that reward. If you've been here a while, you'll understand how much I look forward to reaching my goal much more often.
